Five formats, zero configuration
Markdown, HTML, PDF, JSON, and plain text. Typography in PDF matches Claude's own UI conventions — artifacts, tool calls, and thinking steps render correctly, not as a wall of text. Free.
Export Claude.ai conversations to Markdown, HTML, PDF, JSON, or TXT — single chat, an entire project, or your full history. Every byte stays on your device. Gemini and ChatGPT support on the roadmap.
Three clicks from a Claude chat to a local file. No signup, no config.
One click from the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons. Works instantly on any claude.ai tab.
Markdown for notes, PDF for sharing, JSON for scripting, HTML for offline reading, TXT for bare minimum.
Single chat, a whole project, or the whole workspace as a ZIP. Downloads land in your default folder — nothing uploaded anywhere.

Free for everyday use. A small paywall for power-user features.

On a claude.ai/project/<id> page, export the entire project as a single ZIP: project instructions, every knowledge-base document, every conversation, and all attachments — in their original bytes. The cleanest way to archive a finished project or hand it off.
One click produces a ZIP containing every conversation as its own HTML file, plus an _INDEX.md with titles, dates, and status. Skips empty chats. Handles pagination cleanly up to tens of thousands of conversations.
Uploaded files, generated documents, and images get downloaded with their real bytes and placed in an attachments/ subfolder. Free exports reference filenames only — paid exports give you a complete, self-contained archive.
No servers that touch your data. No analytics. No telemetry. No user accounts. Every export happens in your browser — and then we forget about it, because we never knew. See the privacy policy for specifics — it's honest.
No. The extension reads your conversations directly from claude.ai using your existing session, renders them in your browser, and writes the output to your local downloads folder. There's no analytics, no error reporting, no telemetry. The privacy policy spells out the three network destinations the extension ever talks to, and why.
Three things. (1) PDF generates locally in your browser — no server ever sees your conversations. (2) Attachments and artifacts come through with their real file bytes, not just filenames. (3) Paid plans include batch export of your entire history plus single-project bundles (instructions + knowledge docs + every conversation) for power users — no separate per-conversation usage limits.
Yes. Paid exports bundle uploaded files, generated documents (docx / xlsx / py), and images into an attachments/ subfolder so you get a fully self-contained archive. Free exports include attachment filenames in the body of the export, but not the bytes.
No. Install the extension and start exporting immediately. No signup, no login, no configuration — your existing claude.ai session is what makes it work.
Claude's internal API can change, and when it does the extension may temporarily stop working until we ship an update. We've written the parser to be forgiving (86 regression tests cover the edge cases we've hit so far), but we can't promise perfect stability. If something breaks, email support@aichatarchive.app and we'll prioritize a fix.
Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi). Firefox support is planned. Safari port is on the roadmap and will use safari-web-extension-converter.
No. The free tier is fully functional for single-chat export in every format, including PDF (no daily caps). Most casual users never need the paid features. The paywall kicks in when you want to export a whole Claude project as one ZIP, batch-export your full history, bundle real attachment bytes, or remove the small branding footer.
On the roadmap, no firm date. We're shipping the Claude.ai experience first and making the architecture provider-agnostic so additional providers slot in cleanly. If you have a strong preference for which one comes next, let us know at support@aichatarchive.app — it informs priority.

Yes, for your own devices. The license syncs automatically across Chrome profiles on the same Google account via chrome.storage.sync. For a clean install or a different browser, use Restore Purchase. Sharing the key with other people is not allowed — see the terms.
Install the extension, open Claude, pick a format. That's it.
